We have the knowledge, expertise and experience that is required throughout the railway system's entire life cycle

Today the railway industry plays a central role in our society. It constitutes an effective framework for freight and passenger transport between and within our cities. The railway is also a solution to tomorrow's challenges and contributes high capacity, environmentally-friendly and safe transport.

A condition to achieve this is a functional and effective signalling system. As Sweden's leading consultancy within railway signalling systems, we are alone in providing the knowledge, expertise and experience that is required throughout the signalling system's entire life cycle. We also have specialist competence within railway vehicles.

We offer innovative specialists and overall solutions within the life cycle of railway systems; from strategic decisions to appointment of project teams and effective implementation.

Our offering

We support you throughout the railway system's entire life cycle. The railway system's life cycle extends from ideas and basic concepts, via setting requirements, ordering and implementation, right up to what is the system's actual reason for being; operation. There might subsequently be upgrades and lifetime extensions and ultimately decommissioning and replacement by something else. What we offer is help and support for our customers in all of these stages.

The founders

Magnus and John met during the millennium's first tentative decade when they were both involved in signalling and ERTMS at one of the system suppliers. They are a dynamic duo in that classic sense. A hipster and a gentleman. An innovative ideas man and a finisher. Body synth fan and folk music enthusiast. Coder and leader. Inline skater and potter. Perhaps it is the old cliché that differences are enriching that is partly behind their success?

At any rate, it transpired that they had similar ideas on how the industry needs to change in order to manage the imminent roll out of ERTMS in Sweden: It must be possible to make it simpler! Simpler and faster approval and implementation processes to reduce the thresholds for the operators to install the system. How will it otherwise be possible to successfully roll out this major system in Sweden's uniquely diverse railway landscape? They set up their company in 2009. Even though now, ten years later, these ideas have come to include not just ERTMS but also different signalling systems within local public transport, the fundamental ideas are essentially still present in Stockholm today.
